 Pick Your Own Farms and County Fairs

The Prince William Country Fair is held in August every year.  It is a local favorite, with something to interest everyone, and the biggest county fair in the state of Virginia. Here in Northern Virginia, you pick their own apples, peaches, pumpkins and your own Christmas trees. You will probably want to attend many pick your own farms in Northern Virginia.

Be sure to see the Dale City Farmers Market. Located in the Dale City commuter lot on Dale Blvd., just behind Center Plaza Shopping on Gemini Way.  If you know where the Giant Food store and Padrinos Italian Restaurant are located on Dale Blvd, you will find it.

Occoquan also has a farmers market. It is held in the Mill Street parking lot on Saturday mornings until November 14. The Mill Street lot is right next to the Route 123 bridge over the Occoquan River. Parking is scarce in Occoquan within the historic district. The Town of Occoquan reserves the parking lot under the Rt. 123 bridge on Mill Street for parking for locals and companies from Friday through Sunday. In order to park within this lot, you must have a parking pass. They tow violators.

There is so much to do here in Woodbridge. If you are in the mood for some great baseball, we are near to the Potomac Nationals baseball team. The stadium is right down the road from us; maybe we will see you there!
